These guys were making me nervous with their last minute screw-shoe decision at the final Winter Series race today. I opted no on the screws...and no fall on the ice- yes!
This pic is definitely making me yearn for a trip to Mexico. These shades were captured in Manitou, however if I close my eyes after looking at them, I picture myself sitting under them on the beach, drinking a margarita:).
Tonight's photography class was awesome! We learned how to change the focal point manually in the midst of taking a photo. A perfect example below. I have the POWER!! Bahahahah.
A reminder of the dreadful speed workout Chelsea and I did on the CC track today...ufff. The good news...I wore shorts! Spring/Summer is almost here-yay! Oh yeah, we got yelled at for being on the inside lanes. Boo.
After a group outing with our photography class this morning at the Garden of the Gods, I walked away feeling much more comfortable with aperture and shutter speed. The often feared "manual setting" provides so much control with lighting, blur and clarity. This one was in my group of favorites.
Only the girls in the car today will understand the title of this post:). What a grand adventure we had up at Monarch! Jess, Jane, Dani and I ventured up to the mountains this morning for some fun in the snow. While it might have not all been fun at times (for me and my currently sore knees)...thanks to about 4 years off from any boarding action...we laughed the whole way through it. Thanks friends!
I found myself at a familiar place today in an attempt to work on my first photography assignment. Even though I wasn't all that inspired for some strange reason, a few good ones came through.
Taken at a Boulder Whole Foods Market, also known as a torture chamber for someone sipping on broth for three days! With senses heightened to the extreme...I tried to focus on the visual stimuli, thus lying in this glass case.
